Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that President Vladimir Putin will participate in a government meeting focused on the socio-economic advancement of the Far East, scheduled on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF). The announcement came during a press briefing in Moscow on Friday.

Central Asian Stopover

Before heading to the Pacific coast, Putin will travel to Kyrgyzstan to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit. This visit underscores Russia's engagement with Central Asian partners and multilateral diplomacy.

Vladivostok Engagements

Following the SCO summit, the president will arrive in Vladivostok, where the EEF will be in full swing. Peskov detailed a packed schedule, including bilateral meetings with foreign leaders, the ceremonial launch of new production facilities in the region, and a dedicated session on the socio-economic development of the Far East.
